Is it okay to spy on employees?

It may be complex to manage a number of employees who have PCs at their desks. You look at your people. It may look like a very busy room. However, all these workers may be doing everything but not their jobs. Will you get your hands on that dirty spyware? Or is there perhaps a more honest and transparent way of computer monitoring?

In the past the choice for supervisors who wanted some control was limited. They had to install spyware. Spyware is the name for computer applications that make screenshots, copy text entered from the keyboard, watch over traffic. So you get control. You could make the employees very unhappy. Spying on people takes away their respect.
